Car Fire, Downed Trees Cause Road Closures In Rockland

One roadway remains closed and two others that had been shut down have reopened in Rockland County Saturday afternoon, March 16.

Route 202 reopened at 1:45 p.m. between Old Route 202 and Route 306 after being closed due to a car fire. 

Also in Ramapo, Camp Hill Road, between White Birch and Pomona Road remains closed due to damage from the quick moving thunderstorm Friday night, March 15. Motorists should use alternate routes, Ramapo Police said.

In Clarkstown, Route 59 reopened around 2:1 p.m. westbound after a downed tree in the area of Bobby Lane had caused its closure.
